Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Blink is a field-capture and estimating service for restoration contractors, provided by Blink Estimates Inc. (“Blink”, “we”). These terms cover the Blink iPhone and Android apps and the Blink web app (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Blink. Keep your sign-in details private and tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account. If your company set up your account, your company’s administrators can manage it, including removing your access.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add to Blink. You give us permission to store, process, and display it so we can run the Service for you and your organization. You are responsible for having the right to share what you add.

4. Acceptable use

Use Blink only for lawful purposes. Don’t try to break, overload, copy, or reverse-engineer the Service, and don’t upload anything you don’t have the right to share.

5. Payment

Some features are paid. Prices and billing terms are shown before you are charged, and payments are processed by Stripe. Fees are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise.

6. Ending the relationship

You can stop using Blink at any time. We may suspend, disable, or close any account at any time, with or without cause, including accounts that break these terms or put the Service or other users at risk.

7. Disclaimer and limits

The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version here. Continuing to use Blink after that means you accept the change.

Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

Information you give us when you create an account, such as your name, email address, and company; the content you add while using the Service; and basic device and usage information that helps us keep the Service running. Some features ask for device permissions. Each is optional and can be turned off in your device settings.

2. How we use it

We use this information to provide and improve the Service, support you, process payments, and keep accounts secure. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

Members of your organization; service providers that help us run the Service, who may use it only for that purpose; and authorities when the law requires it.

4. Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. To delete your account and its personal data, email blinkestimates@gmail.com and we will remove it within 30 days, except for records we are required to keep.

5. Security

Your information is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest with AES-256 encryption, and it is stored on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with strict access controls. Only signed-in members of your organization can reach your organization’s content, and our team accesses it only to run the Service or to help with a support request you make.

6. Children

Blink is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
